Ranking of Girl Scout Cookies

Although summer is right around the corner and many people are trying to get back into their summer bodies, Girl Scout Cookies are one snack that don’t go to waste. These 12 cookies are all very tasty, but some are better than others; otherwise, many Girl Scouts would be taking everyone’s money. This list ranks Girl Scout Cookies from worst to best and is based on one opinion, though many people have a different thought on what their favorite Girl Scout Cookie is. What is your favorite?

11. Lemonades– The idea of having a solid food taste like lemonade just doesn’t sound appealing. Even though it has a lemon-flavored icing, it almost seems like too much lemon.

10. Toffee-tastic– I have had a few boxes of Toffee-tastics in my life, and they are good, except they’re not as good as I expect them to be. Toffee-tastics are a vanilla cookie with toffee chunks all around it. Although they do have a good flavor, the toffee sticks to your teeth and the cookies have a lot of crumbs when you pick them up. Expect to have a pile of cookie crumbs when you’re done.

9. Savannah Smiles– These seem to get mixed reviews. Although they’re topped with powdered sugar, the zesty lemon flavor are not some buyers’ guilty pleasure. Personally, I like lemon-flavored things.

8. Shortbread/Trefoils– This cookie doesn’t rank very high on the “wow” factor in my opinion. The cookie itself is very tasty, but it is just a shortbread cookie; there’s no special thing about it. The cookies can be tasty on many other food items, but not by itself.

7. Do-si-dos– Although they’re the same as tagalongs without the chocolate coating, Do-si-dos are just your basic peanut butter sandwiches. With a crunchy oatmeal outside and a creamy peanut butter inside, these cookies will definitely make your mouth water.

6. Thin Mints– Thin Mints are a minty cookie with a chocolate coating that are very popular among mint fans. In my opinion, Thin Mints are very good if you put them in the freezer. I recommend putting a box of these minty cookies in the freezer and taking your mouth on a journey.

5. Girl Scout S’mores– Girl Scout S’mores have two options: a graham cookie double dipped in crème icing covered in chocolate or a graham sandwich cookie with chocolate and marshmallow center. I think that this is a good idea because there are more options for one particular cookie.

4. Thanks-A-Lot– There’s something about shortbread cookies with chocolate that makes it very likable in my opinion. I could sit on the couch and eat the whole box or two without even realizing. Thanks-A-Lots are simple, yet effective, and I recommend trying them.

3. Samoas– Something about coconut, chocolate and caramel makes the world go crazy. Personally, I like these cookies because it’s something different, even though I am not the hugest fan of coconut. I recommend this cookie for everyone because you can always give something a try.

2. Caramel Chocolate Chip– Everyone loves a good chewy chocolate chip cookie with salted caramel chunks throughout. Putting these kind of cookies in the microwave for five to 10 seconds when they’re slightly melted is the best thing in the world. I definitely recommend this cookie to everyone and anyone.

1. Tagalongs– These are my favorite cookie of the Girl Scouts company. I will buy 17 boxes of these cookies filled with peanut butter with a graham cookie base covered in chocolate and still want more. I recommend this cookie to anyone and everyone who can buy Girl Scout Cookies.
