Arizona scenery is pictured by the sign seen entering the state. Arizona is a potential spot for the MLB to make an isolated return according to rumors. This location would allow for baseball fans to see their favorite teams resume the season earlier than expected.

One thing missing from the world right now almost entirely is sports. Every major sport has come to a halt because of the coronavirus pandemic. While most sports do not have a returning date yet, there’s still hope.

The PGA is expecting to open back up for tournaments on June 11. This would be one of the first major sports to open back up in the United States. Rumors around other sports are at an all-time high now too with reopening dates. The MLB has been discussing reopening the season soon in Arizona. This type of an isolated return has been discussed for multiple leagues including the NBA. They have been rumored to restart the season in isolated locations like Las Vegas or the Bahamas even. Players in all sports would be forced to be isolated and tested for COVID-19 frequently.

Today was the day that Damian Lillard hit a game winning contested three from near half court to eliminate the Thunder. This led to the incredible playoff run for the Trailblazers to be in the Western Conference Finals. The NBA playoffs would be in full swing now, which has many sports fans looking back on previous games. On the NBA Youtube channel, a throwback game is streaming almost everyday for fans to pass the time in quarantine with the hashtag #NBATogetherLive. The MLB is airing classic games daily as well on their official Youtube channel. Sports organizations are trying their best to keep fans busy until their seasons can continue.

A documentary of the 1997-98 season for the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan titled “The Last Dance” has been amazing the whole sports world this week. New episodes are being released on what seems to be every Sunday in the ten episode series on ESPN. Many new things are being learned about how the team and MJ went for their sixth championship. The documentary shows the behind-the-scenes of what many believe to be the best player to ever pick up a basketball. Episodes one and two are now streaming on the ESPN app.

Even though the whole sports world has been shocked by this pandemic, they have been able to come together to entertain everyone and to prepare for a brighter future.
