If you’re looking for a way to add to your Halloween decorations this year but are in a last minute time crunch, these diy eyeballs are a relatively cheap and easy solution to make your outdoor decorations more spooky for this holiday. Making this decoration is low cost and only requires a couple of materials that you may already have laying around your house. This makes it a diy project that is fast and easy to do right in time for Halloween.

Materials needed:

  • Two plastic pumpkin buckets
  • Paint brush
  • White spray paint
  • Aluminum foil
  • Black and red paint

Directions:

1.) Start by getting two plastic pumpkin buckets from a store near you, the color doesn’t matter just keep in mind that the color of the bucket will be the color of the iris unless you paint over it. You can find these buckets in a dollar store near you for a relatively cheap price.

2.) Flip both buckets upside down and cover the bottom with aluminum foil, this will prevent the spray paint from getting onto the middle of the eye.

3.) Spray paint the outside of the buckets, and when dry, you can remove the aluminum foil from the bottom.

4.) Next, take a round lid or bowl and trace a circle on the middle of the bucket and paint the inside of that circle black.

5.) Take some red paint and add veins to the eyes and then wait until it’s all completely dry.

6.) Finally find a bush outside and place them in it, you may have to secure it with zip ties to help it stay secure.

There are many other different ways you can add to the monster, try making some scary teeth or arms that you can also attach to the bush. There are endless possibilities of what you can add, and it can be an easy last minute project for your next Halloween.
