Choir teacher Jessie Patterson performs in 9 to 5: the Musical at East Central College. “I love doing acting and musicals and that kind of thing because it makes me a better teacher, Patterson said. I get to learn from other directors and work with different people and learn how they do shows, what makes a show great to them, because everyone has a different idea. 9 to 5 ran from Feb. 20-23.

Juniors Finnigan Hess and Audrey Bush perform in the Teacher Feature Wednesday, March 6. “I like that you get to go on stage and be the person that you’re playing,” Hess said. “You don’t have to deal with whatever is in your life.” Playing the part of Lysander and Hermia, the two marry in the end.

My favorite thing about Nathan is hes really quick on his feet, so if hes backed into a corner, he doesnt just give up, Post said. He can really swindle people or come up with some sort of excuse. The theater program will be presenting “Guys and Dolls” from Nov. 8-10 at 7 p.m.
