WHS theater troupe performs ‘Little Women’
On March 2-4, the Washington High School and ITS Troupe #4233 staged “Little Women” for their spring production. Several seniors, who have starred or worked behind the scenes in many performances, will look back fondly on their experiences in theatre as they head off to college.
“It [tech] was a nice way to end my high school career,” senior Mary Hinnah said. “I’m sad my time is ending, but I’m excited to see my friends carry on in an activity I love so much.”
“Leading up to the actual show was really nerve wracking because it was my last show and I wanted it to be perfect,” senior Abbey Hook said, “but the nights of the show turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I loved every second of it.”
“The memories made with the friends and new family created in tech and theatre in general is beyond any tangible words I can think,” senior Marissa Ginger said. “I’ve grown so attached to these people and the craft in general. Tech has, without a doubt, been one of the best highlights in my high school career.”
