Student spreads Christmas spirit

The stress of finals leaves every student in need of a little cheer. When looking for a smile, keep a lookout for sophomore Chloe Weiss and her festive attire. In the true spirit of Christmas, Weiss has devoted her December wardrobe to one item—Christmas sweaters.

“I started wearing Christmas sweaters every day in December because I love Christmas, and I love sweaters,” Weiss said.

The Weiss family all share the same excitement for the holiday, attending events like Old-Fashioned Christmas and the annual Parade of Lights. Starting last December, the collection of these sweaters inspired a new tradition for the family.

“We go around to thrift stores like Goodwill, Shop Around the Corner or Walmart,” Weiss said. “I really like the vintage ones from the 80s.”

These unique sweaters gather friendly reactions from WHS students and staff. Weiss enjoys spreading the holiday spirit, planning to continue the tradition for years to come.

“I love Christmas,” Weiss said. “It’s a fun time with friends, family and the spirit of Christmas.”
