Missouri Spring Activities
Now that the temperatures have risen and everything is getting bright again there are many outdoor activities that Missouri has to offer. Missouri can vary from live music, original and authentic food, or activities even kids can enjoy.
Missouri is famous for lots of activities, but certain places excel more than others. Specifically, Hermann and Augusta are famous for their wineries and there is no better time to enjoy a walk through a winery while sitting and enjoying a nice meal.
With spring, also comes romance. With the flowers blooming again the florist shops have been featuring new selections and custom bouquets for that special someone. Depending on how long that couple has been together, Hermanns wedding trail can also be considered. It has rustic and mid-century winery aesthetics that feature gentle, but natural lighting.
However, many people find they prefer alone time on a lake to make their spring romantic. Nature is one of the best ways to relax, sitting in a boat in a lake fishing and the potential to win $150,000 all come with the Bas Bro Shop/Cabela’s Big Bas Tour and competition. A few days on the lake is the perfect way to enjoy the serene and wonderful weather in comfortable, natural surroundings in Branson, Missouri.

Kansas City features this as one of their biggest festivals and proudly celebrate it through their proud brewery heritage, 75 breweries come together to celebrate.
Sometimes, the weather isn’t always bright and sunny in the Spring. However, sometimes it’s windy and rainy. And what’s better than curling up with a nice book when it’s storming outside. Colombia appreciates literature through their Unbound Book Festival. Best-Selling authors from all genres and cultures come to make appearances and read excerpts of their newest or unreleased novels.
Branching out of your comfort zone is important. Getting outdoors in the Spring, and trying new things all come with the change of the season. Weston, Missouri features their 2nd Annual Bigfoot Search.
Last but not least, St. Louis. There’s so many ways to spend a nice day in St. Louis. From their famous St. Louis Zoo, or their Meramec Greenway walking trail with amazing views.
