For an easy April Fools’ prank, look through leftover art supplies for inspiration, like googly eyes.

One time every year, there comes a day where we are given the excuse to prank our friends and family. The excuse being April Fools’ Day. As your’re social distancing inside your home, there are many different ways you can prank your friends and family with some household items.

1) Rearrange the drawers in your house

This prank is one of the cheapest options mainly because it doesn’t cost anything. It just takes cooperation. You can rearrange the drawers in your kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. What an interesting turn of events.

2) Food coloring in toothpaste

Since you and your family are social distancing, there’s no need to worry about what they will look like, right? Putting some food coloring in your siblings or parents toothpaste is such an interesting way to add a little color to their morning.

3) Print scary pictures and leave them around your house

If you have a printer, this is a great way to add a little fright to your family’ day. A picture of something like a clown or maybe some bugs could be a great way to add a little fright for April Fools Day.

4) Deodorant Replacement

Even inside the house, you’ll still want to smell good. Give your family a friendly surprise by switching out their deodorant with cream cheese or butter!

5)  Put googly eyes on all (or most of) the items in your fridge

Of course this prank is harmless and easy to remove, so if you’ve got some spare googly eyes laying around from an old project or craft, this is the prank for you!

Having to social distance yourself is a difficult situation to deal with, but we can all combat it together and look on the bright side by doing things we always say we want to do but “never have the time” for doing them. Now you do, and enjoy the pranks while you’re at it!
