WHS journalism students (Blue Jay Journal, The Advocate and Washingtonian staffs) attended and competed at the Missouri Interscholastic Press Association’s state journalism contest and conference at the University of Missouri-Columbia’s Missouri School of Journalism April 6, 2016. The three different media publications earned over 50 awards, including 17 All-Missouri awards, the highest rating awarded.
