Every year around the weekends following Thanksgiving, many families start to put up their Christmas Decorations and lights. Some of the most common decorations include items like a Christmas Tree, outdoor lights, and elf on a shelf. Some people get more creative, making Gingerbread houses, putting up nativity sets or other decorations around the house. Some people even go all out, decorating their house from roof to ground with lights and decorations. But with all of that being said, which decoration is the best?

My personal favorite decorations is the ones that are unique, the ones that catch you eye when your driving past. A few that come to mind are cool formations with Christmas lights that make you wonder how they put them up.

Another good one is just a collective effort of an entire neighborhood. The best form of Christmas decorations is when every house in the neighborhood puts up Christmas lights to outline their house. Driving through those neighborhoods gives you the most Christmas spirit you will ever have at one point in time. The mix of lights and all the different colors and designs is so cool, but one of the hardest to pull off, because it takes a collaborative effort.

Of course one of the the best one is the simple green and red colors. Decorating your house with items of these colors this times of year is a great and simple way to get into the Christmas spirit.

Whatever you decide to do make sure you have fun doing it, because Christmas is a time to relax and enjoy. And most important thing when your deciding what decorations to do, be you, because that is the best type of decoration you can put up.
