A Cool Summer Treat
Jays, we have about a week left of school until summer begins. What’s better than a yummy treat to cool you down this summer while you are enjoying the sun! This recipe is for frozen berry and yogurt swirls, and is guaranteed to be delicious!
Ingredients:
- 10 plastic or paper cups
- 2-¾ cups of fat-free honey Greek yogurt
- 1 cup mixed fresh berries
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 10 wooden pop sticks
Directions:
- Fill each cup with about 1/4 cup yogurt. Put the berries, water and sugar in a food processor; pulse until berries are chopped. Spoon 1-1/2 tablespoons berry mixture into each cup. Stir gently to make the swirl.
- Top cups with foil; insert pop sticks through foil. Freeze until firm.
This recipe is so easy, and serves 10 people. Making this is a great way to start off your summer in a positive, appetizing way and makes for a great treat when needing to cool down! Have a great summer Blue Jays!
