‘Avengers: Infinity War’ leaves viewers dying for answers
Every year a new Marvel-based production comes out. In 2018 alone there have been two high production movies made by the company, one being “Black Panther,” that came out Feb. 16. The next one is “Avengers: Infinity War,” which leaves Marvel fans in suspense for the next film to come out. With all of the characters from the Marvel collection coming together, what’s to miss about this epic movie?

This movie features the Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Spiderman, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Black Panther, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, War Machine, Vision and finally, the Guardians of the Galaxy. The movie starts with the villain, Thanos, trying to get the five infinity stones to have so much power that he will be granted eternal life. It starts with Thor and his brother Loki against the villain. While trying to get the stones, Thanos kills Thor’s brother Loki, leaving Thor in distress to try and take down this evil monster.
The villain then goes around to pretty much every superhero in this movie to try and get the infinity stones. We find out later in the movie that Thanos is Gamora’s, the green woman in the Guardians of the Galaxy, stepfather and he kidnapped her in order to “save” her from her home planet despite the fact that he had over half of the population killed, so he wasn’t really saving anyone. In the movie after the confrontation of what actually happened from Gamora’s point of view, Thanos then throws her off of a cliff, killing her because she said she knew where one of the infinity stones was when in reality it wasn’t there. Toward the end of the movie, all of the superheroes then come together to try and stop Thanos, but he’s too powerful to stop because he has so many of the infinity stones. At the end, what had people so angry at the film was that the villain actually won, and many of the newer Marvel characters turned into ash and blew away with the wind, leaving only the originals left.
Personally, I am not a huge fan of Marvel movies, but this one had so much suspense I had to close my eyes because I couldn’t handle the stress of Thanos giving everything he has to take over and the heroes trying so hard and getting so close to beating him until everything falls apart last minute. It makes me want to watch the second part because we all know there’s going to be a second part to the movie; the directors wouldn’t leave with a cliffhanger and not make a second part. Overall, I give the movie an 8/10 rating, mainly because the acting is very well done, and the graphics and special effects in the movie are also done especially well. I give it an 8 because of the ending that disappointed millions who have to wait another year for the sequel in order to find out where the new characters have gone, although the release date has been undecided. Another year until cliffhangers become unsolved, another year for the action, another year for the action-packed madness that is “Avengers: Infinity War.”
