Meet Amber Christeson! Amber is a senior at Washington High School. This is Amber’s third year on staff and she has taken on the role of Co-Editor-in-Chief. In her free time, you might find her at a boy’s soccer game or stressing about homework.

Anna McFarland was nominated by journalism adviser Erika Robertson. McFarland is involved in Student Council, Leadership and Blue Jay Journal TV. “One of my favorite memories from high school was the first time I filmed a football game for Blue Jay Journal, which was my sophomore year,” McFarland said. “Being down on the field filming that game was really when I realized that film was my passion.” McFarland plans to study filmmaking after high school.

Timmy Boehlein went to Marthasville Elementary School. He is involved in soccer, wrestling, track and field, and National Honor Society. Boehlein plans to attend St. Charles Community College to run track and field. “I think the teachers will miss my cooking for future Bluejay Gourmets,” Boehlin said. “I also think fellow teammates and coaches will miss my leadership and impact in my sports...Finally, the hallway’s fashion game will never be the same the second I leave them.”
